Shikishimagata 7 and 8 ; these volumes are from a series of 10 small format volumes (8” x 5”) containing each about 20 images. They were published in 1904 -1905 and designed by Shimomura Tamahiro one of the prime designers of zuancho, and one of the artists that I really like. I realize that you generally prefer complete sets, but one of this series is particularly difficult to find. The condition of all these volumes is pristine except for the binding of volumes 1, 2, 4, 9 that has failed. I fully understand that you might prefer the bound volumes, but please realize that rebinding the other volumes can very easily be done by a good restorer. The quality of the zuancho is in no way impaired by the condition of the binding.
