The two volume set is not for Kimono. As the title indicates, the designs are for lacquer ware. (Makie means lacquer ware with gold or silver patterns.) I am not very interested in the final work if the designs were applied on lacquer. So many gold butterflies on black lacquer may not be to my taste. However, the designs and print of the set are utterly excellent.
